Today was a great day for DSATB and this lovely two year old named Amir.
Today gave me a great reminder of WHY we do what we do as Advocates.
Amir needs a gate trainer to help him walk. He was born with Down syndrome and he is such an incredible kid. DSATB sponsored him and picked up the entire bill today. We donated $1300 to help Amir get the tool that he needs to start waking.
Many people ask us what we do with the funds we raise. Here’s one major thing we have done for a very appreciative family. His Dad Hassan was emotional and grateful and so was I 💙💛.
