Join us for the Rise-Up for Down Syndrome Annual Gala March 16th 2019 at the beautiful Tampa Museum of Arts. Our cocktail party starts at 6pm with dinner at 8:30pm and a silent auction to follow throughout the night. Sports memorabilia items including baskets of items autographed by Tampa Bay Lightning Players will be auctioned off.
Children are welcome as we have partnered with Doublemint Sitting, a certified babysitting company here in Tampa. We have a special room set aside for our children to be taken care of so you can enjoy the night with no worries. The childcare, small snack and beverages will be provided at no cost as a token of appreciation for your support from DSATB. If you you would like for your child to be in attendance for the Gala dinner they will need to purchase a Gala ticket. The childcare ticket does not include the Gala events.
7pm we will begin the award ceremony for our kids who earned Certificates of Achievement throughout the year. Following the kids awards, we will be presenting some community awards to a few of our supporters and our main award recipient who is also our Keynote speaker for the evening Mr. Tom Golisano.
Live Entertainment will provided by our Gala DJ.
Our Emcee for the evening will be Roxanne Wilder from Q105 The Current.
Included with your Gala ticket will be hors d’oeuvres, dinner, 3 hours of open bar, entertainment such as live jazz music during the cocktail hour, live music during dinner and a professional DJ for the Gala party. You will also have access to our silent auction and will be able to bid on items available as well as be present for our Award Ceremony and will be able to make a small donation to take home one of the art pieces our artists blessed with a little something extra creates.
A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Tampa Bay and help us continue to serve our Down syndrome community while we give back throughout the year in many unique ways.
